As the only FDA-approved injectable of its kind, Kybella is used to treat double chin by destroying submental fat cells permanently.  Comprised of Deoxycholic Acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the human body, this substance is primarily responsible for the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat.

 

When injected directly into fat, the molecule immediately begins breaking down fatty cells. Once the cells have been destroyed, they can no longer hold fat- even if subsequent weight gain occurs.

While Kybella is best known for its efficacy in treating the dreaded "double chin", our board certified injectors also use this injectable for bra fat, jowls and inner thighs.

What To Expect:

For optimal results, patients will need to commit to at least 2-3 treatment sessions with this injectable. Each treatment only takes around 45 minutes to complete and must be spaced out at a minimum of one month.

How much does Kybella cost?

While the cost will depend on the area being treated, one vial of Kybella starts at $600. Larger treatment areas (like the inner thighs) will require 2 vials.
