Updated: Apr 5

With Summer swiftly approaching, it's that confronting time of year most women tend to dread- swimsuit shopping season.

While we all certainly love warmer, sunnier days, the rising temperatures force us to remove the concealing layers of clothing that once hid our flaws from the world. Nowhere left to hide!

Now if fat reduction is your most pressing concern, proper diet, exercise, and hormone management (which we offer at our Chattanooga Med Spa) are some of the most effective, non-invasive approaches you can take in getting bikini ready.

On the other hand, you could still be essentially living in the gym, adhering to a strict diet, and taking the proper supplementation, all the while being plagued with body insecurities from wrinkled, sagging skin.

What causes the skin on our body to wrinkle and sag?

Unfortunately, as we age, our production of collagen and elastin begins to decrease- gradually resulting in loose, crepey skin as we approach middle age. Contributing even further to this issue, excessive sun exposure and weight fluctuations only speed up this process and make matters worse.

I know...the effects of aging can seem downright cruel! That being said, I do have some good news for you- there is something you can do to instantly improve such body woes (and it doesn't involve painful surgery)!

Hyperdilute Radiesse Injections for the Body

No need for invasive, surgical lifts or tucks, aesthetic science has recently discovered that by diluting Radiesse, a popular injectable filler, with sterile saline and lidocaine, it is much easier to evenly distribute product throughout larger treatment areas of the skin (think arms, neck, stomach, legs, hands, and buttocks).

Even better? Unlike traditional Hyaluronic Acid fillers which only provide volume to the treated area, Radiesse provides immediate volume while also stimulating long-term collagen and elastin production (addressing the root of the problem).

What to Expect

Just as with facial fillers, the procedure itself can take anywhere from thirty minutes to one hour to complete (depending on how many areas you are treating). While there is no required downtime, patients may experience temporary swelling, redness or bruising at the injection site.

Although your results will be immediately visible, it is important to remember that filler results are not permanent. Typically, the effects of Radiesse can last up to one year.
